Sustainability Survey Results – Retail
In late 2010 Canadian Packaging Magazine brought together a group of industry stakeholders to discuss their perspectives on sustainability in today’s marketplace. Within this group of representatives there was a good mix of manufacturers and retailers who were able to provide interesting interpretations from both sides of the “fence”. Some of the companies who were represented included Walmart Canada, Sobeys, Unilever, Canpaco, Atlantic Packaging Products, Nestlé Waters Canada and Sun Chemical to name a few. Within this article the Canadian Packaging Magazine partnered with the Rogers Connect Research department to conduct a comprehensive industry survey to assess the importance of packaging sustainability among Canada’s packaging end-users in the CPG (consumer packaged goods) sector and their customers in the Canadian retail industry. In this issue we have again pulled out some of the most interesting questions and results; however, this time the answers below are from the vendors perspectives.
