As a sponsor of Team Fritz, we are proud to announce that the Fritz™ Water Vest (developed by Solutions Inc. founder Dr. Fritz Yambrach, PhD) is the recipient of the Diamond Award at the 2017 Dupont Awards for Packaging Innovation.

Such an award (the highest given in the competition) is a testament to the organization’s hard work and dedication. In developing such an innovative and important packaging solution for at-risk populations, they’ve proven that packaging technology is both important and beneficial for everyone who lives on this planet.

Now in its 29th Year, the DuPont Awards for Packaging Innovation is the packaging industry’s longest running, independently judged celebration of innovation and collaboration in packaging design, materials, technology and processes. Over 150 entries from 24 countries were submitted into the globally-recognized competition, with the Fritz Water Vest being awarded their
highest honor.

The Fritz Water Vest is an engineered flexible package that enables people in developing countries to carry up to 20lbs of water easily and safely. Honoring the packaging industry’s commitment to sustainability, personalization and solving global challenges, the independent panel of packaging expert judges felt that the Fritz Water Vest best exemplifies all those categories.
