Production General Laborer
Production General Laborer shall be responsible for executing all the activities within the production and operations department that correlate to creating outputs for sale or internal use. Production General Laborer will be allocated a task for each day set out by the Production Supervisor which needs to be executed in the most efficient, high quality, safe, and profitable way to help support the company’s sales and service objectives. Production General Laborers can be either permanent employees of the company or temporary laborers sourced from 3rd party vendors.

Job Duties
- Execute and carry out the activities directly correlated to the production or processing of goods, e.g. inspectors, fabricators, etc.
- Work efficiently and effectively to continuously improve production rates
- Ensure that work orders are completed in a timely fashion and that all documentation pertaining to individual work orders includes all required information to complete the process
- Support supervisors by executing their directions to help the company achieve specific client, task, and internal objectives
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently by adhering to company procedures and SOP’s
- Read and interpret work orders to determine what tasks/operations need to be completed to meet the day’s output requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Production experience preferred
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service orientation
Working Conditions
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination
- Overtime as required
- Production floor safety issues
