Crownhill Packaging Ltd. is seeking a creative, passionate, analytical, and career-minded individual for the position of Project Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research, gathering data, and compiling reports on various business departments and projects. You will also assist in the planning and execution of departmental projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, synthesize large amounts of data, a desire to learn, and be comfortable in a fast-paced ambiguous business environment.

Job Duties / Responsibility

  • Work with each department to identify and prioritize special projects that align with the goals and objectives of the organization
  • Learn about the organization from within its most critical operational departments to understand the processes and workflows, their interconnectivity, and how each department impacts the delivery of goods and services to our customers
  • Assist the management team in identifying potential projects, assist in the creation of plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Conduct internal and external research and analysis to support project decision-making, including market trends, competitive analysis, and customer insights
  • Identify potential risks and challenges to project success and assist in the development of contingency plans to mitigate those risks
  • Collaborate with peers, vendors, contractors, and other internal/external partners to ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time
  • Continually evaluate the effectiveness of special projects and make recommendations for improvements or modifications as needed
  • Create internal and external documents, including case studies based on research to support decision making
  • Research various sustainability initiatives and identify opportunities for Crownhill Packaging to reduce its environmental and GHG impact
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet the company’s sustainability goals
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure that sustainability goals are integrated into daily operations
  • Monitor and report on progress towards sustainability targets
  • Assist with the implementation of sustainability-related initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support sustainability initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Work independently, while managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced and deadline-driven work environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Working Conditions

  • Ability to travel to, attend, and conduct presentations
  • Comfortable with the daily use of standard office equipment (computer, phone, etc.)
