Congratulations to the 2015 Canada Post E-Commerce Innovation Awards Winners

Canada Post recently announced the complete list of winners of its 2015 E-Commerce Innovation Awards. Created in 2012 and now in its fourth year, the Canada Post awards recognize the excellence and effort put forth—by both Canada’s leading brands and its emerging entrepreneurs—in the online retail world. Celebrated by leaders in Canada’s e-commerce industry, the winners receive exclusive prize packages, which include shipping services, customized direct marketing packages with data solutions, and marketing exposure.

The winners are:

  • Best Omni-Channel Retailer, Large: Best Buy Canada
  • Best Omni-Channel Retailer, Small: Poppy Barley
  • Best Online Shopping Experience, Large: Frank & Oak
  • Best Online Shopping Experience, Small: Kayokoko Swimwear Inc.
  • Most Exciting Start-Up: Thalmic Labs
  • Best Customer Engagement: Nerd Block
  • Consumer Champion Award: Well.ca
  • Canada Post E-Commerce Innovator’s Award: Shopify
  • Community Impact Award: Manitobah Mukluks

The Consumer Champion Award is determined by an online vote, while the Canada Post E-Commerce Innovator’s Award (chosen by Canada Post) goes to an e-commerce company that has made a significant contribution to advancing e-commerce in Canada. The remaining winners are chosen by a panel of industry experts hailing from organizations such as the Retail Council of Canada, Forrester’s eBusiness Team, Hut2Hut Events, Google Canada and eComMTL.

Crownhill Packaging is honored to have sponsored the Community Impact Award. Nominees in this category have shown remarkable imagination, integrity and passion when it comes to socially-responsible initiatives. They take their corporate responsibility seriously, seeking to build value in society—locally, nationally and even globally. This year’s winner, Manitobah Mukluks, heads up the Storyboot Project, teaching Aboriginal youth the art of moccasin- and mukluk-making.

We’d like to congratulate all of this year’s winners at the Canada Post awards. The work you’ve done in the e-commerce world has benefitted us all, and we look forward to the wonderful accomplishments and strides you’ll all make in the future.
