As part of their efforts to enrich and nourish the lives of those in need, PDA supports charities and foundations that represent the values that guide PDA’s vision for the packaging industry: integrity, transparency, and service to others. At every PDA Annual Meeting, packaging distributors and suppliers raise money for a local charity or foundation.

In 2021, members at the PDA Annual Meeting raised a record $20,000 charitable donation for the Gary Sinise Foundation, which honors defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need. And in 2022, when the PDA Annual Meeting set to be held at the Montage Palmetto Bluff Resort in Bluffton, South Carolina, was cancelled due to pandemic measures, the event’s booking fees were donated to the employee relief fund.
