Marketing Intern

Summary

Our internship program is looking for a dynamic and driven Marketing Intern that is interested in exploring a career that is rewarding personally and professionally. The Marketing Intern assists the Marketing team in defining and building the marketing efforts of Crownhill Packaging Ltd. products. In this role you will be responsible for assisting with advertising, content creation, and market research.

Schedule

The duration of the internship will be a 4-month term, on-site at Crownhill Packaging headquarters in Brampton, Ontario. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

 

Job Duties

  • Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels
  • Prepare marketing materials to support the organizations objectives
  • Provide direct administrative and office management support to all members of the marketing team
  • Review and edit marketing materials such as website content and documents
  • Research, develop, and implement new marketing programs
  • Provide assistance with promotional materials, communication strategy, competitor analysis, market research, and product management
  • Clerical and technical support for the marketing department
  • Organize, maintain, and coordinate marketing materials
  • Working with suppliers and vendor partners to collect digital assets
  • Support marketing campaign planning and execution
  • Participate in marketing brainstorm sessions
  • Manage and organize production and marketing samples
  • Develop a strong understanding of product knowledge and packaging trends

Requirements

  • Basic photography, image, and video editing

Summary

Our internship program is looking for a dynamic and driven Graphic Design Intern that is interested in exploring a career that is rewarding personally and professionally. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for quality control, print file setup, and proof creation. The Graphic Design Intern will assist the e-commerce team with the preparation of packaging dielines. This individual will use extensive knowledge of specialized design concepts, media, and software tools to develop comprehensive layouts for the production of printed materials.

The duration of the internship will be a 4-month term, on-site at Crownhill Packaging headquarters in Brampton, Ontario. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

 

Job Duties

  • Complete dielines and proof art files promptly according to all printing and development specifications
  • Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely creation of print-ready files
  • Design electronic and printed materials for publications, marketing materials, websites, and other channels
  • Integrate multimedia concepts with graphic design elements
  • Provide technical graphics assistance to marketing and e-commerce team
  • Create digital assets to support new product launches
  • Retouch and manipulate images using Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Ensure packaging designs accurately represent our clients’ brand
  • Present final designs to management for approval
  • Evaluate market trends and analyze packaging design
  • Working with suppliers and vendor partners to collect digital assets
  • Coordinate and maintain a library of graphics, media, digital records, and other content
  • Write and edit marketing copy, as required

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for quality control, digital file setup, and proof creation. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our packaging design team in creating innovative packaging solutions that reflect our brand and appeal to our customers.

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service and product development, to understand packaging requirements
  • Assist in the development of design concepts and prototypes for new packaging ideas
  • Conduct research on packaging materials, trends, and innovations
  • Manage product samples and keep in- and out-bound packaging prototypes organized
  • Support sales team with the development of unique custom packaging solutions
  • Create 3D renderings of proposed solutions using CAD software
  • Ability to use and/or quickly learn how to operate relevant equipment, producing samples as required
  • Ensure packaging designs accurately represent our clients’ brand
  • Present final designs to management for approval
  • Evaluate market trends and analyze packaging design
  • Use graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create and edit packaging designs

Our internship program is looking for a highly motivated Inside Sales Support Intern that is interested in exploring a career that is rewarding personally and professionally. In this role you will be responsible for managing customer inquiries regarding inventory availability, order status and shipping options. This position is vital to building, strengthening, and maintaining customer relationships.

Job Duties

  • Guide and process customer orders and inquiries in a fast-paced environment using world-class technology
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email and chat
  • Effectively resolve customer concerns
  • Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about products, pricing and availability
  • Respond to shipping inquiries and answer order status questions
  • Become a product expert and understand each customer’s needs to provide real, effective solutions and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Align with the sales department to achieve business goals and objectives
  • Work with Account Managers to ensure that all administrative tasks related to the support of key accounts are completed
  • Oversee data for new and prospective clients, ensuring communications are logged and information is accurate
  • Become familiar with ERP software to create and manage customer orders and shipments
  • Cross-functional support of internal departments to help deliver projects on time and according to customer expectations, providing updates as required
  • Act as liaison to other business units for completion of day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
  • Assist with outside sales requests
  • Forward proper documents and paperwork to the shipping department as required

Summary

Our internship program is looking for a dynamic, driven, and customer-oriented Purchasing Intern that is interested in exploring a career that is rewarding personally and professionally. In this role you will assist our purchasing team in sourcing, acquiring, and paying for packaging materials and supplies. This position is also responsible for supporting daily activities including quoting, freight, and invoice-related tasks. This resource also leads the Department’s project-based activities helping to increase departmental efficiency and effectiveness.

The duration of the internship will be a 4-month term, on-site at Crownhill Packaging headquarters in Brampton, Ontario. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

 

Job Duties

  • Work closely with buyers during every phase of the purchasing process
  • Collaborate with departments and managers, supporting customer service, sales, and logistics departments
  • Conduct ongoing inventory analysis practices and procedures to help reduce stale or slow-moving inventory
  • Generate purchase orders to replenish approved product, ensuring maximum cost effectiveness and excellent customer fill rates
  • Verify and input vendor pricing and lead time data into system; track and claim any deviations
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain ETA’s for open purchase orders
  • Review complex MRP results to support the purchasing requirements of the business; create purchase orders to support those needs
  • Investigate purchase order price discrepancies to help alleviate accounting issues
  • Maintain vendor files pertaining to cost, quantity, and quality
